Winter Collection: North Devon Woodland

I thought I would gather up some of my tree memories from around the North Devon Coast for you to enjoy. I have tried to show a good variety from different places and different times of the year.  But I have also been  selective in the type of image I have chosen, so they would be coherent and hang together as a whole.

Season’s Greetings everyone!

Thanks trees!

About throughstones

I am primarily an environmental artist, living on the North Devon coast, a still beautiful, semi-rural area in South West England. I am interested in the eternal movement and cycles of life, and in full engagement with place - particularly as it relates to what we call 'nature' or 'the natural environment'. It is a way of making myself at home in the world.

Just gorgeous. Thank you indeed to the trees for posing and to you Linda for putting together such a beautiful collage of photographs.

    • Thanks so much Amy-Lynn. It occurred to me to share all the beauty and pleasure I had received. I always feel instantly at peace when I am close to trees, no matter how bad I had been feeling before! I am sorry to be such an erratic blogger these days, but I hope to do more. Also – I have been checking over my email notifications and the Reader, as I don’t think your posts are reaching me. Or perhaps I just need a new pair of glasses… lots of good wishes…

Thank you very much for looking at my blog and following it. I hope you enjoy my pictures, which are usually about wild nature in places near where I live. I have heard of Horrid Henry books, but not read any of them yet. They sound good fun!
